Senator Mitt Romney has received this year’s John F. Kennedy “Profile in Courage Award” for his decision to vote to convict Trump during his first impeachment trial.
Romney was the only Republican Senator to vote to convict Trump on his first impeachment trial.
Peter Alexander of NBC News reported the news and spoke with Romney to discuss his honor.
Almost every year, the Kennedy family gives a Profile in Courage Award to honor acts of bravery by public officials.
