VIDEO: Miami Dade sends out over half a million vote by mail ballots

Miami-Dade, Florida sent out over half a million ballots Thursday per CBSMiami.

Supervisor of Elections Christina White said “we have around 120,000 more ballots that we’re mailing out today in the initial run than we have had in entire elections in the past.”

According to CBS “In Broward County, more than half a million absentee ballots were mailed out last Friday. More than 25,000 have already been completed and returned.”

Kevin Cate, a former Obama staffer tweeted Friday:

Wow. Look at these returned vote by mail numbers in Florida. @FlaDems +91,340 vote advantage.

DEM: 184,552 (7.6% return rate)
GOP: 93,212 (5.6%)
N/3/I: 64,119

Total: 341,877

In 2016, this far out from E-Day, GOP held +1,304 advantage with only 7,487 mail ballots returned.

He added “Also keep in mind, Miami-Dade, the largest bluest of blue areas of Florida waited until the last possible day to drop ballots in the mail — yesterday. So did Orange. Also blue.”
