VIDEO: McCabe Says Being Accused of Treason By Trump is “Quite Honestly Terrifying”

Former acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe called being accused of treason by President Trump “quite honestly terrifying” during an interview with CNN.

Andrew McCabe:

To spend your life dedicated to protecting America and upholding the Constitution and then to be accused by the President of treason and suggest and have him further put the suggestion out that the proper penalty for us would be death…I can’t describe to you how revolting that is and quite honestly terrifying.

It is just the exact opposite of who we are as government servants, it dishonors the commitments and the work that we did to try investigate what we now know is a completely valid investigation and it’s just a disgusting level of disrespect for the people who serve this country everyday.

In February, President Trump tweeted:

Wow, so many lies by now disgraced acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe. He was fired for lying, and now his story gets even more deranged. He and Rod Rosenstein, who was hired by Jeff Sessions (another beauty), look like they were planning a very illegal act, and got caught…..

….There is a lot of explaining to do to the millions of people who had just elected a president who they really like and who has done a great job for them with the Military, Vets, Economy and so much more. This was the illegal and treasonous “insurance policy” in full action!

Andrew McCabe was fired in March of 2018, after which President Trump tweeted it was “a great day for the hard working men and women of the FBI.”
