In a moment that has gone viral on social media, Democrat lawmaker Mike Quigley of Illinois claimed “Hearsay can be much better evidence than direct.”
Abigail Marone tweeted the video and wrote:
“Hearsay can be much better evidence than direct.”
Uh ??
So not only are the Democrats ADMITTING their entire impeachment sham is based off of hearsay, but now they’re trying to defend it. What a joke!

Marone then added in a follow-up tweet:
Democrats prefer hearsay because it means they can make things up, say they heard it from someone, and ignore those pesky things called facts.

Earlier, Rep. Steve Scalise tweeted:
The Dems’ star witness got all his info 2nd or 3rd or 4th hand.
Today he was asked point-blank if the people he got that info from could’ve gotten it wrong. (Spoiler: they did)
His response? “People make mistakes.”
THIS is what Dems are basing impeachment off of? Unbelievable.

Rep. Mike Quigley tweeted his apparent intended context:
Republicans keep complaining that the witnesses don’t have firsthand knowledge but the White House keeps blocking those potential witnesses.
If there were witnesses who could absolve the President the White House would be beating down our door. But there isn’t, so they’re not.
