Republican lawmaker Justin Amash took to Twitter on Thursday to double down on his earlier calls to impeach President Trump citing the Mueller report, alleging Trump used the power of his office to attempt to influence the investigation.
Amash claimed the report showed a “consistent effort by the president to use his office to obstruct, or otherwise corruptly impede, the Russian election interference investigation because it put his interests at risk.”
In a multi-tweet rant which was rooted heavily in speculation, the outspoken critic of President Trump laid his allegations out while urging for impeachment.
1. Trump asked the FBI director to stop investigating Michael Flynn, who had been his campaign adviser and national security adviser, and who had already committed a crime by lying to the FBI.

3. Trump directed the White House counsel, Don McGahn, to have Special Counsel Mueller removed on the basis of pretextual conflicts of interest that Trump’s advisers had already told him were “ridiculous” and could not justify removing the special counsel.

5. Trump asked Corey Lewandowski, his former campaign manager, to tell AG Sessions to limit the special counsel’s investigation only to future election interference. Trump said Lewandowski should tell Sessions he was fired if he would not meet with him.

6. Trump used his pardon power to influence his associates, including Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen, not to fully cooperate with the investigation.

Outraged Trump supporters and betrayed conservatives quickly replied, denouncing Amash for his continued attacks against the president, with many floating various theories as to what may be motivating the Republican Rep. to repeatedly condemn the president.

Nearly 30 million spent and 2 1/2 years latter. Dems didn’t get the answer they wanted and they still can’t give it up.

Dude….. if you want to get into @SpeakerPelosi‘s panties – feel free. But making an empty case for impeachment for no crimes is not the way.
