Trump Warns Mexico Confrontation with U.S. Soldiers “Better Not Happen Again”

On Wednesday, President Trump issued a stark warning to Mexico, following a recent confrontation between United States military and Mexican soldiers, which Trump said “Better not happen again!”

The president suggested the incident was “a diversionary tactic for drug smugglers” at the US-Mexico border, and said the US is “now sending ARMED SOLDIERS to the border.”

“Mexico is not doing nearly enough in apprehending [and] returning!” added Trump, in response to the latest incident.

Social media users agreed, and overwhelmingly stated their support for the increase in security following the military confrontation.
