Trump Supporters Relentlessly Blast Romney on Twitter After He Votes With Democrats

Friday was all about winning for Republicans.

Per Fox News, after hours of debate during the day, the Senate voted 51 to 49 to block a Democratic motion to call new witnesses.

The vote came after vehement demands from Democrats to call former national security adviser John Bolton to testify about the Trump-Ukraine saga.

However, there are still hard feelings from Conservatives against the 2 Republicans who opted to vote with Democrats.

Of the two, most of the ire has been directed towards Mitt Romney.

Matt Schlapp American Conservative Union Chair of CPAC officially UNINVITED Senator Mitt Romney to CPAC 2020.

That ended up being just the tip of the iceberg as many Trump supporters vented online their frustration at Romney.

There is no legitimate reason for Mitt Romney to vote for calling witnesses, none. He was not in danger of being replaced in his home state, or opposed by a conservative…

Until now. He will be out in the next election.

I am going to CPAC because am better than Mitt Romney:

– I served my country in uniform
– I have never lost an election, especially one I should have won

– I am no one’s b*tch @mschlapp

The Senate just voted to NOT continue with more witnesses. 51-49.

That means there will most assuredly be an acquittal.
