Trump Supporters React to Barr Clashing With Nadler Over Testimony Terms

US Attorney General William Barr and the Department of Justice have recently indicated they intend to cancel an appearance to speak before House Democrats, following continued attacks and last-minute attempts to change the rules.

Since the release of the Mueller report, which vindicated President Trump of collusion and obstruction allegations, House Democrats have repeatedly turned on Barr, and demanding further testimony to a point which has clearly frustrated the AG.

“Attorney General Barr wasn’t asked to testify before the committee, he offered,” a House Republican spokesperson said in a statement, adding, “He provided the Mueller report voluntarily. He invited Democrat leaders to view the less redacted report in person.

The spokesperson continued, “the only thing, apparently, that will satisfy Democrats, who refuse to read the less redacted report, is to have staff pinch hit when a cabinet-level official appears before us.”

Trump supporters took to Twitter to react, clearly unimpressed with Nadler and Democrats’ continued fixation on the Mueller report.
