BREAKING: Trump Sends Iran a Powerful Message

On Friday, President Trump described his decision to cancel a planned strike against Iran following the shooting down of an unmanned US drone.

Trump explained that when he asked military advisers present how many deaths would be caused by the strike, he was informed that around 150 people were expected to be killed.

“10 minutes before the strike I stopped it,” Trump said, “not proportionate to shooting down an unmanned drone,” adding, “Sanctions are biting [and] more added last night,” while continuing to maintain a strong stance against Iran possessing nuclear weapons.

Trump, who has notably taken measures to avoid the loss of life in previous situations, was praised for his decision to avoid killing needlessly, as social media commenters of all backgrounds took to the internet to agree.
