Trump Praises Brave Border Patrol Agent Who Stopped Synagogue Shooter

On Saturday, tragedy struck in Poway, California, when an anti-semite opened fire at a synagogue, killing at least one innocent victim and wounding several others in what law enforcement stated was a hate crime.

An off-duty Border Patrol agent quickly responded to the attack, opening fire on the suspect and thwarting his plan to murder more people.

President Trump took to social media to praise the heroic response from the Border Patrol agent, and said “He may have been off duty, but his talents for Law Enforcement weren’t!”

Later in the day, the president strongly denounced the horrific shooting, sending his “deepest sympathies to all those affected” while vowing to combat “anti-semitism and hate” during his rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Additionally, President Trump, First Lady Melania, and Vice President Mike Pence all shared their thoughts, condolences, and prayers for the victims on social media.
