Trump Launches Tweet Storm Against Media, Vows “Justice” in Wake of Mueller Report

On Friday, in the aftermath of the Mueller report’s release, President Trump took to social media to admonish Democrats and the Mueller investigation team, itself, in a series of tweets.

The president did not hold back, calling much of the report “fabricated [and] totally untrue,” while referring to the probe as “total bullshit.”

“This was an illegally started hoax that never should have happened, a big, fat, waste of time, energy, and money,” said Trump, noting, “$30,000,000 to be exact,” while calling for justice.

“It is now finally time to turn the tables and bring justice to some very sick and dangerous people who have committed very serious crimes, perhaps even Spying or Treason,” said Trump, adding, “This should never happen again!”

Later in the day, Trump called out The Washington Post and The New York Times, which he called “two of the most dishonest media outlets around.”

“Truly, the Enemy of the People!” asserted Trump, in regards to the outlets’ resoundingly negative coverage of his administration, which focused almost exclusively on the now-debunked allegations of collusion with Russia and obstruction of justice.
