President Trump has refuted a NY Times report that says Vice President Pence told him he lacks authority to challenge election results.
The NY Times report claimed Pence told the President Trump during a lunch that he does not have the power to block a congressional certification of the Electoral College results.
The Team Trump Twitter account responded with the following statement that received a “this claim about election fraud has been disputed” label by Twitter.

President Trump tweeted Tuesday night “If Vice President @Mike_Pence
comes through for us, we will win the Presidency. Many States want to decertify the mistake they made in certifying incorrect & even fraudulent numbers in a process NOT approved by their State Legislatures (which it must be). Mike can send it back!”
The tweet was labeled by Twitter “This claim about election fraud is disputed.”
