Several anti-Trump Twitter users responded to the news a CPAC attendee tested positive for coronavirus by gloating, laughing and celebrating.
Here is just a small sample:
They spell it “Thoughts and Prayers” But it’s pronounced “Karma”
Corona virus has a 30% mortality rate if you’re over 70….
A lot of these people should be terrified
So God DOES have a sense of humor after all.
Well Mitt Romney just smiled – a small smile but a smile nevertheless.
I hope that Trump was there and shook his hand
Well, conservatives have been saying it’s “just the flu” all day. I guess now we’ll find out.

Per FoxNews, the American Conservative Union (ACU), which hosts the high-profile Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), confirmed Saturday that one of this year’s conference attendees has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
“The exposure occurred previous to the conference,” the ACU said in an email to attendees and participants.
The person was tested in New Jersey and the positive case was confirmed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the ACU added.
The conference is attended by many lawmakers, politicians and White House officials. President Trump and Vice President Pence also spoke at this year’s event.
“ACU has been in contact with the Health Department of the State of Maryland, and we will explicitly follow the guidance from government health experts,” the email read, ensuring: “This attendee had no interaction with the President or the Vice President and never attended the events in the main hall.”
The White House said it is aware of the situation and that there’s no indication Trump or Pence were in close proximity to the attendee.
