Trump Critics Accuse Him Of Copying “Star Trek” After Unveiling “Space Force” Logo

President Trump unveiled the new “Space Force” logo Friday, tweeting:

After consultation with our Great Military Leaders, designers, and others, I am pleased to present the new logo for the United States Space Force, the Sixth Branch of our Magnificent Military!

Critics immediately accused Trump of copying the “Star Trek” logo.

On Twitter user wrote:

What is it with the Trump family and stealing and plagiarism?

Adam Parkhomenko wrote “I feel like there is a trademark violation in here somewhere”

John Noonan then struck back, writing:

For those excitedly tweeting that Trump stole the Star Trek logo!!!!, the patch on the left was the existing Air Force Command logo.

The same one I wore as a Lieutenant in 2005.
