Trump blasts Senator Tom Cotton after he says he won’t object, warns Republicans “Never Forget”

Monday morning, President Trump blasted Senator Tom Cotton after Cotton said he will not object to the electoral college vote in a statement.

Trump tweeted “How can you certify an election when the numbers being certified are verifiably WRONG. You will see the real numbers tonight during my speech, but especially on JANUARY 6th. @SenTomCotton Republicans have pluses & minuses, but one thing is sure, THEY NEVER FORGET!”

The tweet was given the warning label by Twitter “This claim about election fraud is disputed.”

Senator Tom Cotton issued a statement Sunday making it clear he won’t be joining the group of Republican Senators challenging the electoral college vote.

Cotton said he believes the effort led by Senators Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz could “establish unwise precedents.”
