Trump Approval Rating Hits 52%, 23 Month High in Rasmussen Poll

Rasmussen reports has Trump’s approval rating at 52% in their latest poll, a 23 month high.

Trump was clearly proud of the rating and recently tweeted a meme of it.

Rasmussen has been an overall outlier, and most other polling has Trump with a higher disapproval rating.

Newsmax reports President Donald Trump’s approval rating has reached 52 percent, the highest it has been in almost two years, according to Rasmussen Reports.

Rasmussen’s daily Presidential Tracking Poll shows:

  • 52 percent approve of Trump’s job performance.
  • 47 percent disapprove.
  • 39 percent strongly approve.
  • 39 percent strongly disapprove.

Rasmussen notes this is the highest Trump’s approval rating has been since March 6, 2017, about seven weeks after he entered office. Trump has repeatedly touted his ratings from Rasmussen, which are frequently more favorable toward the president than other polling outlets. According to RealClearPolitics, Rasmussen is the only poll that has shown Trump’s approval rating at or above 50 percent.
