Tomi Lahren Calls “Cry Baby” Kaepernick a “Disgrace” After Nike Shoe Controversy

Colin Kaepernick is back in the spotlight, this time for convincing Nike to not release a patriotic sneaker with a “Betsy Ross flag” design on the back.

Per Yahoo, fresh off her recent engagement, Lahren was out in NYC promoting her new book, “Never Play Dead: How the Truth Makes You Unstoppable.”

The Fox News host called Kaepernick a “spokes cry-baby” and is shocked that he’s “offended and oppressed” by a shoe.

On Monday, it was reported that Kaepernick privately forced Nike to nix their shoes because of the flag on the back.

The special edition Air Max 1 Quick Strike Fourth of July trainer features the The Betsy Ross flag, and the circle of 13 stars has been connected to groups with racist ideologies, as well as a connection to slavery.

After scrapping the kicks, Nike said released a statement saying, “based on concerns that it could unintentionally offend and detract from the nation’s patriotic holiday.”

Lahren has told TMZ in the past she’d be Civil with Colin Kapernick if they ever met.
