Tlaib fumes at Sinema over “no” vote on $15/hr minimum wage, says “no one should ever be this happy to vote against uplifting people out of poverty”

“Squad” member Rashida Tlaib took issue with how Democrat Arizona Senator Krysten Sinema voted “no” against an effort to add $15/hr minimum wage to the relief bill.

“No one should ever be this happy to vote against uplifting people out of poverty. This is Senator Sinema voting no on $15 minimum wage,” Tlaib wrote.

Tlaib was replying to Ryan Grim who wrote “Here’s @SenatorSinema walking on to the floor, patting Mitch McConnell on the back, looking back to make sure he sees her, then giving the thumbs down to a $15 minimum wage”

Many Democrats were upset by Sinema’s animated “thumbs down” vote.
