Thousands are calling for the resignation of Philadelphia State Rep. Brian Sims, after he verbally attacked and abused a peaceful elderly woman protesting at a Planned Parenthood.

Sims received instant backlash for his bullying of this elderly woman, and calls for him to resign have reached a fever pitch.
Newsweek reported that the outcry surrounding Pennsylvania State Representative Brian Sims’ haranguing of anti-abortion protesters outside a Planned Parenthood clinic continues as thousands call for him to resign and a “Pro-Life Rally Against Bullying” event is organized in response.
Sims was heavily condemned over two videos he posted on social media showing him confronting protesters outside a Center City Planned Parenthood facility in Philadelphia which critics said amounted to harassment and intimidation.
In one video, he approaches a woman and three teenage girls and offers to donate $100 to Planned Parenthood if any of his online viewers could identify them, a practice known as doxxing. In a second video, Sims berates a woman outside the same clinic for several minutes. During the clip, Sims also asks his online viewers if they know where she lives so he can organize a protest outside her home.
Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Val DiGiorgio described Sims’ behavior as “outrageous” while announcing the party is urging that a criminal investigation be launched against the lawmaker.
“Elected officials should not use their positions of power to harass citizens who are peacefully protesting. I hope our state and federal prosecutors will undertake review of this matter with the seriousness it deserves and uphold the role for which they were elected to, which demands holding people accountable for their actions,” DiGiorgio said in a statement.
An online petition demanding Sims resign over his “shameful harassment and bullying” has so far attracted more than 8,000 signatures.
“The videotaping and harassment is shameful, potentially illegal, and is conduct unbecoming a member of the state legislature. Sims should resign immediately,” the GoPetition states.
So much so, Sims attempted a “no apology” apology.

I will fiercely protect a woman’s right to make the best choices for her health & her body, unimpeded. I also know that two wrongs don’t make a right, especially on the front lines of a civil rights battle. I can do better, and I will do better, for the women of Pennsylvania. pic.twitter.com/jURL1UX9qE

Twitter users were quick to respond to the angry and aggressive state rep.
”Two wrongs” would imply that innocent people peacefully praying outside a building are on par with your atrocious, vile behavior. If this is supposed to be an apology, you better try again boy.

I like the way throws “racist” in there without acknowledging the fact that 53% of blacks people are never born because of Klanned Parenthood. Black people are on track to the the smallest minority in America. This was the vision of the founder of PP who was a racist eugenicist

I will join my fellow Philadelphians at the 11am Friday morning protest to demand you resignation from Pa State House seat asap. You are a proven hate monger and too unstable to hold any elected office. Perhaps you could volunteer full time and dispose of the dead babies instead

I’m a gay man and a veteran who fought for this country. As a gay man, you make me want to fight against the leftist insanity infecting our community. People like you are why I left the Democrat Party and am NEVER coming back. #WalkAway
