On Monday, Republican Senator Ted Cruz took to social media to call out Hollywood actor-turned-activist, Jim Carrey, for his recent abortion-themed artwork in which he suggested Alabama’s Governor, Kay Ivey, should have been aborted.
“This is not OK,” said Cruz, who went on to point out that the left has become “vicious, angry, [and] consumed by hate,” noting, “Instead of insults [and] dehumanizing rage, we should return to civility.”
Cruz continued, “I disagree [with] Carrey’s politics, but believe we should respect his humanity nonetheless,” adding, “I wish he would reciprocate.”
This is not OK. Today’s Left: vicious, angry & consumed by hate. Instead of insults & dehumanizing rage, we should return to civility. I disagree w/ Carrey’s politics, but believe we should respect his humanity nonetheless. I wish he could reciprocate. #LoveIsStrongerThanHate https://t.co/vKVGZzou1q

Conservatives agreed, with many thanking Cruz for taking Carrey to task over his hateful artwork.
Thanks for calling out this monster Governor.

You’re exactly right. Jim Carrey lost his soul somewhere along the way.

Leftist anger is mostly self-hatred turned outward because it causes less cognitive dissonance that way.
Until some part of reality hits ‘em hard.
