Tech Giant Salesforce says it has taken action against the RNC to restrict email usage

Tech Giant Salesforce, an over $200+ billion dollar company, has “taken action” to stop the RNC from sending emails that claim election fraud or contain inflammatory language they fear could incite violence.

The RNC is currently using ExactTarget, a Salesforce tool, for campaign emails.

A spokesman for Salesforce told “The Verge” the RNC has not been dropped as a client.

They said “We are all deeply troubled by the terrible events of January 6. And while we all hope that they are never repeated, sadly there remains a risk of politically incited violence across the country.”

“The Republican National Committee has been a long-standing customer,” they added “predating the current Administration, and we have taken action to prevent its use of our services in any way that could lead to violence.”
