Appearing on CNN with Don Lemon, former Obama National Security Adviser Susan Rice said “I can only assume and infer that President Trump has some extraordinary insecurity in relation to Barack Obama.”
Rice also criticized the Trump pandemic response as a whole, telling Lemon “They were not focused on the reality that a pandemic was not just going to happen some time, but could happen any time. That’s why they were so flat-footed.”

Rice’s attack follows a recent pattern of Democrats claiming Trump is envious of Obama.
While discussing President Trump on “The View” host Sunny Hostin got personal and claimed President Trump will never be “as smart or as elegant or eloquent” as Obama and thus he is envious.
Well, it’s not a surprise that he tried to blame President Obama, and President Obama’s administration because he has this obsession with President Obama. I mean, he’ll never be as smart as President Obama or as elegant or eloquent, you know, or as successful. He’ll never look as good in a tan suit. So he, of course, tried to do that.
Don Lemon just days earlier suggested Trump may not like Obama because Obama is “smarter” or Michelle Obama is “more accomplished.”
What is it about President Obama that really gets under your skin? Is it because he’s smarter than you? Better-educated?
Made it on his own, didn’t need daddy’s help? Wife is more accomplished? Better looking? I don’t know, what is it, what is it about him?
That he’s a black man that’s accomplished being president?
That he punked you on the whole birth certificate thing? What is it about him? Just wondering.
