Following NASCAR’s vocal support for social justice, the Formula 1 organization shared a video of several kneeling and tweeted:
End Racism. One cause. One commitment.
As individuals, we choose our own way to support the cause. As a group of drivers and a wider F1 family, we are united in its goal. #WeRaceAsOne
One cause. One commitment.

Several Twitter users then attacked those who chose NOT to kneel.
One Twitter user who clearly supported the protest wrote:
“All those standing should be ashamed of themselves”

“Shame on those that didn’t kneel. I’ve lost a lot of respect for them today.”
