Senator Perdue to quarantine just days before runoff election

Talk about bad timing.

Georgia Senator David Perdue announced today he will quarantine after being exposed to someone infected with COVID-19.

Perdue may be forced to miss any final live campaign events that would have taken place between now and January 5th, the day of the crucial Georgia runoff elections.

The campaign said “the Senator and his wife have been tested regularly throughout the campaign, and the team will continue to follow CDC guidelines.”
