Senate votes to limit debate on Barrett SCOTUS nomination, setting up final confirmation vote Monday evening

Moments ago, the Senate voted to limit debate on the nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to 30 hours.

A final vote on her confirmation is set to take place Monday evening some time after 7pm.

By a tally of 51-48 #Senate invoked cloture on the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett to be an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. Senators Collins and Murkowski voted no. Senator Harris did not vote.

Democrat Senators continue to oppose Barrett, though her confirmation appears to be a near certainty.
