Sunday, Senator Chuck Schumer called on Judge Amy Coney Barrett to recuse herself from any decisions involving the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) and 2020 election.
This comes as the Supreme Court nominee President Trump picked to fill the vacancy left by the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is set to undergo confirmation hearings this week.
Schumer also tweeted “Serious conflicts of interest: Judge Barrett must immediately pledge to recuse herself from decisions on the Affordable Care Act and the 2020 election.”
