Salon Owner who defied Lockdown Advances to Texas Senate Seat Runoff

Shelly Luther, the Dallas Salon owner who famously defied lockdown and was sent to prison for it has advanced to a Texas Senate seat runoff.

Late April, Luther declared “I’m not closing the store” leading to her arrest.

Luther was released from the Dallas County jail on orders of the Texas Supreme Court.


Per KFDX “Since neither Luther nor Springer got the majority, and both getting around 32% of the votes, they will have to start campaigning yet again for the runoff.”
