Salon owner refutes Pelosi “Set up” claim in new presser, fights back tears

During an emotional press conference today where she at one point fought back tears, San Francisco’s eSalon owner Erica Kious fought off tears while denying she “set up” Pelosi and demanding that House Speaker be the one to apologize.

Pelosi has claimed she was “set up” by the Salon and has asked for an apology.

Kious said “Hairstylists and other small business owners in San Francisco and elsewhere are doing what they need to do to survive.”

She continued “The point of releasing this video was to show a woman in a high-risk age group who spends much of her time on TV warning about the dangers of COVID-19, feel safe and comfortable in a San Francisco salon, and can be responsible for being cautious and mindful.”

Kious then asked “Why can’t the rest of San Francisco and the rest of America do that too?”
