Rose McGowan Apologizes to Iran for USA in Bizarre Tweet, Pleads “Please Do Not Kill Us”

In a bizarre tweet that made waves on social media, actress Rose McGowan apologized to Iran for the death of Solemani.

McGowan wrote in her letter “Dear , The USA has disrespected your country, your flag, your people. 52% of us humbly apologize.”

McGowan then continued “We want peace with your nation. We are being held hostage by a terrorist regime. We do not know how to escape.”

The actress concludes with the plea “Please do not kill us.

McGowan faced plenty of backlash and in a subsequent tweet explain she was trying to take one for the team.

Of course was an evil evil man who did evil evil things. But that at this moment is not the fucking point. The United States is morally corrupt and acts illegally. It is only logical to appeal to Iran’s pride by apologizing. I’m taking one for the team.

McGowan also clarified “I most definitely do not side with the USA.”

Conservative Katie Hopkins released a video in response:

Dear @rosemcgowan Brave is fighting FOR your country. Not speaking out AGAINST it.
