Director Ron Howard did not mince words when it comes to how he feels about President Trump.
Howard replied to a Twitter user who had a question, asking:
Question: why is the smallest of achievements heralded as better than the second coming of Jesus when it comes to Obama, but with Trump it is only negativity from Hollywood & Democrats?
“Happy Days” actor and “Apollo” 13 director Ron Howard responded:
In the entertainment industry many who have known/worked w/ Trump think that while his reality show was fun and ran a long time, he’s a self-serving, dishonest, morally bankrupt ego maniac who doesn’t care about anything or anyone but his Fame & bank account & is hustling the US

While the tweet went viral with over 100k likes, not everyone agreed and the highest engagement responses were critical of Howard.
Jona responded:
Wow. So brave. Now do Weinstein, Spacey, Bryan Singer, Polanski……. I haven’t heard one peep from you during the decades where they preyed on the vulnerable. And I’m SURE you knew. You have no credibility.

Ron, all due respect professionally but these are feelings not facts. Hollywood isn’t inclusive or tolerant of those who do support him.
