The CD25 race between Christy Smith and Mike Garcia is so close that it seems likely one side will ask for a recount. Heads-up: L.A. County does not sort paper ballots by precinct, and it costs more than $100K to retrieve them for a recount. Free advice: Call a lawyer now.
