Republican Garcia’s lead cut to only 104 votes in nail biter CA House Race

Democrat Christy Smith has cut into Republican lawmaker Mike Garcia’s lead in the nail biter House race for California’s 25th district.

Garcia was leading by 219 votes and is now only leading by 104 votes with several thousand Los Angeles ballots left to count, which are considered more favorable to Smith compared to Ventura ballots.

The Ventura County Star tweeted “As of Friday, only 104 votes separate GOP incumbent Garcia from Dem candidate Smith in California’s 25th Congressional District. That’s .03% of the 333,130 votes cast and counted.”
