According to a new report from the Hill, Warren flew home to Boston late Tuesday, after a Detroit rally. She has no public events scheduled for the day. A senior campaign official told The Hill she would meet with staff to gauge her remaining chances.
“Elizabeth is talking to her team to assess the path forward,” the campaign aide said.
As of this moment, Warren has earned 51 delegates compared to 467 for Biden and 392 for Sanders.
Analytics site FiveThirtyEight gives Warren a 0% chance of winning a majority of delegates.
If Warren stays in the race, she risks potential widespread mockery and ridicule.
