REPORT: Trump may announce 2024 run if Biden is certified as 2020 Winner “shortly afterward”

A report from the NY Times claims that President Trump may announce a 2024 run if Joe Biden is certified the 2020 Presidential election winner shortly after.

The NY Times writes “As a next step, Mr. Trump is talking seriously about announcing that he is planning to run again in 2024, aware that whether he actually does it or not, it will freeze an already-crowded field of possible Republican candidates.”

Later in the report is the claim “the president has told some advisers that if the race is certified for Mr. Biden, he will announce a 2024 campaign shortly afterward.”

Meanwhile, Trump is clearly still incensed at Fox News.

Trump blasted Fox News Thursday morning, tweeting “@FoxNews daytime ratings have completely collapsed. Weekend daytime even WORSE. Very sad to watch this happen, but they forgot what made them successful, what got them there.”

“They forgot the Golden Goose,” he added “The biggest difference between the 2016 Election, and 2020, was @FoxNews!”

Axios reported “Some Trump advisers think Fox News made a mistake with an early call (seconded by AP) of President-elect Biden’s win in Arizona. That enraged Trump, and gave him something tangible to use in his attacks on the network. “He plans to wreck Fox. No doubt about it,” said a source with detailed knowledge of Trump’s intentions.”

The report says rather than a traditional cable channel “Trump is considering a digital media channel that would stream online, which would be cheaper and quicker to start.”
