Rep. Greene fires back after AOC dismisses concern over crime spikes in major cities as “hysteria”

Rep. Greene has fired back at AOC for dismissing concerns over crime spike in major cities as “hysteria.”

“We are seeing these headlines about percentage increases,” Ocasio-Cortez said during a conversation with New York Rep. Jamaal Bowman over Zoom. “Now, I want to say that any amount of harm is unacceptable and too much, but I also want to make sure that this hysteria, you know, that this doesn’t drive a hysteria and that we look at these numbers in context so that we can make responsible decisions about what to allocate in that context.”

Greene tweeted “Let me help you with how to analyze the data and calm the hysteria @AOC. Fund the police.”

Greene tweeted just moments earlier “Radical, Socialist Democrats have made me enemy #1 in the Swamp … that’s a badge of honor I’ll wear all day long.”

“Because my constituents sent me to DC to fight for the PEOPLE of this country, not the politicians,” she added.

President Biden’s approval rating took a hit in a new Yahoo/YouGov poll.

This comes as an increasing number of Americans see “violent crime” as a “very big problem.”

Biden’s approval is down 4 points from late April to 50%, while his disapproval rate is 43%.
