Rep. Greene brushes off being removed from committees, says “I feel free” and “It’d be a waste of my time”

A day after she was booted off two committees by 230-199 House vote, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has brushed off the event and media circus that has followed.

“I feel free,” Greene told reporters Friday while outside the Capitol “because you know what’s happening on these committees. … We have basically a tyrannically controlled government right now.”

“I’m fine with being kicked off of my committees because it’d be a waste of my time,” she added “so now I have a lot of free time on my hands.”

Greene also tweeted “I woke up early this morning literally laughing thinking about what a bunch of morons the Democrats (+11) are for giving some one like me free time. In this Democrat tyrannical government, Conservative Republicans have no say on committees anyway. Oh this is going to be fun!”
