Raffensperger demands Sen. Perdue apologize after wife got death threats

Appearing on Fox News, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said Senator David Perdue owes his wife an apology.

Martha MacCallum asked Raffensperger to  respond to Perdue calling it “disgusting” to have his recording with President Trump.

“Purdue still owes my wife an apology for all the death threats she got after he asked for my resignation,” Raffensperger replied “I have not heard one peep from that man since. If he wants to call me, face to face, man to man, I’ll talk to him, off the record. But he hasn’t done that”

David Perdue later addressed Raffensperger’s remarks and said “It’s outrageous that anybody made a death threat, but that had nothing to do with my call for his resignation.”

He added “that had to do with total incompetence around what happened in November.”
