Radio host who told Trump “chill dawg” over Seattle “anarchists,” comes home to vandalized complex

A radio host who had told President Trump “chill dawg” over concerns over Seattle “anarchists,” came home to find his own home apartment complex vandalized.

June 12th, President Trump warned about “anarchists” in Seattle and the danger of them burning and pillaging the city.

At the time Paul Gallant appeared to believe Trump was merely fear mongering and replied “Walked through it last night out of curiosity and saw no burning, pillaging, or deaths. Chill Dawg.”

Gallant’s tune changed when he came home to find his own Seattle apartment complex vandalized.

Saturday Gallant wrote:

Came home to my apartment complex. The Starbucks underneath has been destroyed, and cops are telling us to stay away in case something explosive is inside.

Gallant then added “great job assholes”

Unrelated, there’s a fire a few blocks from me which had me freaked out when I saw it from the highway. Zero clue what’s going on, but the cat and I are g’ing t f out

I feel like I need to buy a firearm, because clearly this is going to keep happening. Enough is enough. It looks like a block party down the street from me. Really angry right now.

One Twitter user replied to Gallant and mockingly said “This puppet had his eyes opened.”

Gallant has acknowledged the irony.

Woke up to a bunch of ppl tweeting “Chill Dawg” at me.

I laughed. I stand by what I originally said. 5 weeks ago, Chaz/Chop/whatever didn’t seem as bad as portrayed by those outside of it. I‘d walked through it a few times. Then burning & pillaging actually happened. Classic
