Kimberly Klacik, who calls herself “pro-Trump” and “anti-squad” on her Twitter bio has won the Republican primary to represent the district once held by Elijah Cummings.
Klacik tweeted “Once certified, I will give my speech & thank everyone that got us this far. This is just the beginning. We have until November to prove to all in District 7 why only an outsider could bring about the serious change many promise but never deliver.”

Washington Examiner reports self-described pro-Trump congressional candidate Kimberly Klacik was victorious in the Republican primary to represent the Maryland district once held by the late Elijah Cummings.
“I’m literally in tears,” Klacik tweeted Tuesday night as news outlets began to call the race for her.
Klacik went on to thank her supporters and tell them she is honored to get a chance to run in the congressional election.
“Thank you all for the congratulatory messages,” Klacik said. “I am honored to be chosen to continue this journey to Capitol Hill. What is currently happening around this country motivated thousands to vote in Maryland. We still have a few days before the win is certified.”
Klacik earned national attention last year by calling out the poor living conditions in many sections of Baltimore in a series of tweets that received notice from President Trump.
Residents constantly call the city to remove trash, no one shows up for months. Rats & roaches are a problem in almost every home. Illegal immigrants at the border live in better conditions than Americans in West Baltimore. This is @RepCummings district.
