President Trump’s approval rating with black voters surged from 15% to 24% from just 2 weeks ago in a Hill-Harris X polling conducted August 22-25th, which included the first two days of the RNC convention.
The increase of 9% from 15-24% represents a stunning 60% gain.
The same survey also found Trump’s support among Hispanics grew from 30-32%.
President Trump won roughly 8% of the black vote in 2016 and 29% of the Hispanic vote.
The RNC featured several black speakers over the 4 days including a keynote speech from Senator Tim Scott, NFL Legend Herschel Walker, HUD Secretary Ben Carson, Kim Klacik, a Baltimore Republican running for Congress, Lawmaker Vernon Jones, former NFL Player Jack Brewer, and more.
