While many mainstream news analysts have been touting the pick of Kamala Harris by Joe Biden, Harris trailed Pence in favorability within her party in an early August poll.
A YouGov/Economist poll taken between August 2nd and 4th found Vice President Mike Pence more popular among Republicans than Harris is with Democrats.
Pence led Harris in favorability by 15 percentage points.
79% of Republicans held at least a somewhat favorable view of Mike Pence.
64% of Democrats held at least a somewhat favorable view of Kamala Harris.
This poll was taken before Harris was selected as Biden’s running mate.
Appearing on Fox News with Sean Hannity, Vice President Pence recently warned what he believes would happen during a Biden presidency.
