POLL: Bernie Surges to 50% Support from College Students in Dem Primary

A new poll indicates Democrat college students have no qualms about putting a “Democratic socialist” at the top of the party ticket.

The poll from Chegg Media Center shows Bernie Sanders skyrocketing to 50% support among college students in the Democrat primary after his New Hampshire win.

Bernie’s support in this segment is so strong its equivalent to all his opponents combined.

Here is how polling moved from the week before.

Sanders 50% (+3)
Warren 18% (-1)
Buttigieg 8% (-)
Biden 7% (-)
Klobuchar 3% (+1)
Bloomberg 2% (+1

On a weekly basis, the Chegg/College Pulse Student Election Tracker surveys over 1,500 full-time and part-time students attending two and four-year colleges or universities across the United States who are part of College Pulse’s American College Student Panel™, which includes 250,000 undergraduate college student respondents from more than 800 two and four-year colleges and universities in all 50 states. Every data point uses a weighted rolling average of the surveys from the previous three weeks’ surveys.
