POLL: 95% of Republicans support requiring ID to Vote, but only 60% of Democrats

According to a new poll conducted by Beacon Research (D) and Shaw & Company (R) the vast majority support requiring a ID to vote.

77% of voters agreed there should be “a valid form of state or federally issued photo identification to prove U.S. citizenship” to vote.

Only 19% oppose the effort.

According to Fox News, 2 years ago, 85% agreed.

95% of Republicans support requiring showing a valid I.D. to vote compared to only 60% of Democrats.

The poll also 81 percent of Republicans are extremely or very concerned about voter fraud.

Appearing on Fox News last week, House Judiciary Committee member Rep. Burgess Owens, (R-UT), reacted to Stacey Abrams comparing Georgia’s voting law to Jim Crow.

Owens argued it’s insulting to say Black people can not get ID in order to vote.
