BREAKING: Pentagon sending 3,000 troops back into Afghanistan amid worsening chaos

The Pentagon is sending 3k troops to Afghanistan to help Americans leave the country.

The DailyMail reports “Diplomats are weighing how soon they could have to totally evacuate the US embassy, where some 4,000 are employed”

This comes as per the report “Taliban have now seized control of 12 provincial capitals, two-thirds of the nation. Taliban fighters are going door-to-door and forcing young women in captured areas into sex slavery and executing Afghan forces who surrender.”

According to State Department spokesman Ned Price, diplomatic work will continue at the Kabul embassy.

“Our first responsibility has always been protecting the safety and the security of our citizens serving in Afghanistan, and around the world,” Price said at a briefing where he also called the speed of the Taliban advance and resulting instability “of grave concern.”

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki raised eyebrows Wednesday when she defended President Biden’s decision to withdraw U.S. troops with a controversial statement about the Taliban.

Psaki admitted Afgahn government forces were struggling then said “the Taliban also has to make an assessment about what they want their role to be in the international community.”

This prompted Don Jr. to tweet “LOL, yea the Taliban really cares how they’re viewed by the international community. These people live in a clown/dream world.”

“Perhaps Psaki should go live there and try to convince them to care. I’d be curious as to how much they will heed her advise. Good times,” he added.
