March 7, 2017, Kathy Boockvar, Pennsylvania’s election chief and Secretary of the Commonwealth tweeted “Using the title ‘President’ before the word ‘Trump’ really demeans the office of the presidency…”
Conservatives are now expressing concern over whether she is able to remain unbiased for her role as overseeing the key state election.
Sharing the tweet from the past, Mollie Hemingway wrote “PA Secretary of State overseeing what’s being done in PA isn’t just a partisan but this level of anti-Trump partisan”
While talking to The Morning Call Boockvar said “It’s going to take longer to count.”
“Does that make it less secure, make it less reliable? No. It’s not. It takes more time. It’s a very different analysis than the issues they had in Florida back in the day,” she added.
Dana Loesch also shared the tweet and wrote “Doesn’t Pennslyvania’s Secretary of State inspire a lot of confidence in their ability to conduct impartial vote counts?”
