Per the NY Post “Pelosi’s selection of Swalwell (D-Calif.) is a bold affirmation of the embattled House intelligence committee member, who has refused to say if he was romantically involved with Chinese spy Fang Fang. The FBI warned him about Fang in 2015 during his first year on the House intelligence committee.”
The report adds “Swalwell’s father and brother remained active Facebook friends with the suspected spy until last month when her operation was publicly reported.”
Pelosi said in a statement “tonight, I have the solemn privilege of naming the Managers of the impeachment trial of Donald Trump.”
“It is their constitutional and patriotic duty to present the case for the President’s impeachment and removal. They will do so guided by their great love of country, determination to protect our democracy and loyalty to our oath to the Constitution. Our Managers will honor their duty to defend democracy For The People with great solemnity, prayerfulness and urgency,” she added.
