Pelosi Ends House Session After Only Minutes, Says They Won’t Vote on Relief Bill Today

Nancy Pelosi has delayed the passage of the Senate’s coronavirus relief package at least a day after ending the House session after only minutes.

Per Heather Caygle of Politico:

House Dems are holding a series of caucus calls today with various committee chairs.

On the first one just now, Pelosi said she expects legislative text within the hour.

Pelosi said UC might be harder to get on the GOP side.

Leaders are talking to Capitol Police and attending physician in case members need to come to the floor.

Pelosi also said there’s “no way” to pass the bill on the House floor today

Chad Pergram of Fox News tweeted:

House will not pass coronavirus bill today. Already gaveled in, gaveled out of pro fotm session. Senior sources say House won’t meet again later today

One Twitter user wrote:

Pelosi and the House got in at 10am this morning and left at 10:02am.

They will likely not be voting on the Senate Bill today.

What does that mean?

It means Pelosi is withholding aid from Americans for another day!

What an absolutely horrible person.
