“Pay the $5,000 fine” Pelosi facing more calls to pay fine she imposed for bypassing metal detectors

Republicans are putting on more pressure and making a “huge push” for Pelosi to pay a fine she imposed for bypassing the metal detectors prior to entering the House floor.

Rep. Dan Crenshaw tweeted “Play by the rules Madam Speaker. Multiple members saw you enter the Chamber without going through YOUR metal detectors. Pay the $5,000 fine.”

Republican Rep. Rodney Davis said he saw Pelosi enter the House floor from a forbidden entrance Thursday firsthand.

Davis explained “she opened the session on the floor, she came through what is known as the Speaker’s lobby.”

We are all told, one Republican was fined for doing this just yesterday, that you cannot walk through those entrances unless you are disabled,” he continued.

Davis blasted Pelosi saying her actions were “typical good for thee, not for me type of attitude that comes out of San Francisco.”

Pelosi’s office has yet to respond or deny the account of Davis.

2 Republicans including Rep. Louis Gohmert were hit wiht a $5k fine Friday for bypassing the metal detectors.

Gohmert said he had left the House floor to use the bathroom.
