Palin pens scathing letter ripping Obama after he throws shade at her in new book

Tuesday, former President Obama tweeted “My memoir, A Promised Land, is out today. I hope you’ll read it. My goal was to give you some insight into the events and people that shaped me during the early years of my presidency. Most of all, I hope it inspires you to see yourself playing a role in shaping a better world.”

Obama recalled when Senator McCain selected Palin as his running mate.

He wrote “It seemed as if the dark spirits that had long been lurking on the edges of the modern Republican Party — xenophobia, anti intellectualism, paranoid conspiracy theories, an antipathy toward Black and brown folks — were finding their way to center stage.”

Appearing with Sean Hannity, Palin fired back “There’s proof after proof after proof that he is a purveyor of untruths.”

She continued “our country has to love truth. We have to be seekers of truth. We have to be willing to follow truth. And there are so many untruths that Barack Obama is leading people to still.”Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) said that former President Obama is a “purveyor of untruths.”

Obama wrote in his new memoir, “A Promised Land,” that the late Sen. John McCain’s (R-Ariz.) selection of Palin as his running mate in 2008 ushered in a shift in the Republican Party that McCain himself “abhorred.”

“It seemed as if the dark spirits that had long been lurking on the edges of the modern Republican Party — xenophobia, anti intellectualism, paranoid conspiracy theories, an antipathy toward Black and brown folks — were finding their way to center stage,” he wrote.

During an interview on Fox News’s “Hannity” on Monday, host Sean Hannity read from the excerpt and asked Palin to respond.

“There’s proof after proof after proof that he is a purveyor of untruths,” Palin told Hannity. “Our country has to love truth. We have to be seekers of truth. We have to be willing to follow truth. And there are so many untruths that Barack Obama is leading people to still.”

The former governor of Alaska later added “the provisions about it’s OK to kill a baby in the womb — there are so many things that Barack Obama stands for still and he just doesn’t get it. The solution to our issues in this country, it all comes down to simply loving truth. He does not represent nor love truth.”
