Package to Trump containing poison ricin intercepted by law enforcement

A package addressed to President Trump containing poison ricin was intercepted by law enforcement before reaching the White House.

According to the Washington Examiner the FBI said in a statement “The FBI and our U.S. Secret Service and U.S. Postal Inspection Service partners are investigating a suspicious letter received at a U.S. government mail facility. At this time, there is no known threat to public safety.”

Trump supporters expressed outrage at the possible assassination attempt.

Robby Starbuck wrote “Breaking: Secret Service intercepted a package this week addressed to President Trump with the deadly poison Ricin inside of it. Make no mistake, this is an assassination attempt on our President by the deranged left. They will not silence us and we won’t back down.”

Charlie Kirk wrote “The Secret Service just intercepted a package addressed to President Trump which contained Ricin. These are the lengths the left is willing to go to stop him from filling a Supreme Court seat. Pray for the president.”

James Woods wrote “It’s all-out war now being waged on our President, our government, and our nation. They are funded and organized and without morals. The Democrats have turned a blind eye to three full months of rioting, looting, and arson. It won’t stop until we stop it.”
